Modern Queenslander Renovation - Windsor
This workers cottage in Windsor was carefully extended and reconfigured to create a more functional and contemporary family home while retaining the scale and character of the original dwelling.
The project involved remodelling the existing living areas to open onto a private front courtyard, improving natural light, ventilation and connection to outdoor space. New bedrooms and bathrooms were added to the rear, allowing the home to evolve without compromising its original character.
The result was a compact but highly functional home that responded more effectively to both the site and modern living requirements.

Modern Queenslander Renovation - Grange
This classic Queenslander in Grange was transformed through a considered extension and full refurbishment, rethinking how the home functions for contemporary living.
The primary design move was relocating the main living areas to the ground floor, creating a direct connection to the yard and pool and significantly improving usability and flow. The upper level was retained for private spaces, accommodating five bedrooms and a family room.
This reorganisation allowed the home to better respond to both the site and the way it is used day-to-day, while maintaining the character of the original dwelling.
Completed in 2015, the property was sold in 2019, delivering a strong return on investment for the owners.
