ORO NEWSTEAD - MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT
Urban Solutions Architects worked closely with the developer and Brisbane City Council through Council's DesignSMART pre-lodgement process to achieve an iconic development with an active streetfront and public space which provide a positive contribution to the neighbourhood an street level.
Engaging in the DesignSMART process and adopting Council's Buildings That Breath guidelines opened opportunities to negotiate additional site cover and building height that would not have been possible with a basic code compliant design solution.
