Post War Renovation - Coorparoo

The clients came to Urban Solutions Architects in 2017 when their family had outgrown the existing post war hi-set home in Coorparoo. Although flooding had never been an issue for them, BCC mapping showed the site in an overland flow path. We helped them to engage engineers to do a flood report & designed the renovations to ensure they would always stay high & dry.

The house was raised & upper floor re-arranged to add an ensuite and additional bedrooms. Downstairs, the available space was utilised to create an open plan living area, laundry & separate family room.
